The power supply in the municipality comes from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines and being distributed by the Benguet Electric Cooperative (BENECO). BENECO is organized as a non-stock, non-profit/service oriented entity, non-sectarian and non-political electric cooperative and registered with the National Electrification Administration on October 5, 1973.
The area of coverage has a total geographical tract of approximately 2,664 sq.km. comprising of a city and 13 municipalities, namely: Baguio City, Atok, Bakun, Bokod, Buguias, Itogon, Kabayan, Kapangan, Kibungan, La Trinidad, Mankayan, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay. The franchise area is characterized by mountainous terrain where mining and farming are the principal industries.
BENECO is composed of 11 districts:

District VI – Baguio City
District VII – La Trinidad
District VIII – Itogon/Bokod/Kabayan
District IX – Tuba/ Sablan/ Asin Road & Irisan Barangay, Baguio City

District XI – Mankayan / Buguias/ Bakun
Although Tublay municipality is very near where the Ambuklao Dam is located, it was only in 1991-1992 that the far-flung barangays were energized.
